Last month, we spent a number of days at  Needles Safari Lodge, during our first visit to South Africa, and Kruger National Park.

What a wonderful time we had whilst at the Lodge, and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone planning a visit!

The Lodge caters for a maximum of 16 guests, and the  accommodation, staff, and meals were outstanding.

The owner, Denis Goffinet, and the staff, went out of their way to make us - and all other guests - welcome, at all times.

Nothing was too much trouble, and it felt more like a family environment for all concerned.

We cannot speak too highly of our experiences at Needles Safari Lodge.

We stayed recently in your lodge and it was amazing. We enjoyed the diner together at the great table and to hear the experiences and stories of the other guests. Needless lodge is a warm and hospital lodge! Rooms are good and comfortable. We hope to home back!

The stay with Needles was fantastic, it not only met, but far exceeded our expectations
Being a small lodge, we were welcomed like valued guests. Lyn was our host for the four nights we stayed, she was absolutely delightful.
Evening meals were a highlight, sharing our meals with other guests and Needles staff and owners was fabulous.
Food was always local and very well prepared and presented

We booked the four night package, which included two full day Kruger safaris and an early morning rangers walk through the park, along with four nights stay at the lodge. We found this package to be great value for the family.
The lodge arranges the private tours with their inhouse comfortable trucks. Our guide, Tiaan, was passionate, knowledgeable and very professional. He ensured our Kruger experience was beyond expectations.

What a fantastic place to spend some time in South Africa. The location is beautiful, the rooms are splended and very tasteful. The service is excellent, nothing is lacking at Needles Lodge. Cosy living room setting in the evening while enjoying delicious meals.

We have been coming to Kruger regularly for years and in 2020 Needles was recommended to us by a friend. In October 2020, the only month this year in which one could travel from Germany to South Africa, we had our first stay there and it has now become our favorite place outside of Kruger. Our whole family loves the familiar and cozy atmosphere. The entire team is very friendly and always very interested in the well-being of the guests. The food is fantastic and the rooms are just wonderful. Sitting together in the lodge in the evening with other guests from all over the world and sharing the experiences of the day with a good wine and a perfect meal is incomparable. We keep coming back!

We stayed 17 nights at Needles lodge and can summarize it in one word FANTASTIC. The family atmosphere of both the owners and all the staff makes you feel so welcome here. Nothing is too much to ask here, everyone is very helpful. Our thanks to the entire team at Needles lodge and see you next year because yes, we will return to Needles lodge next year and again for at least 17 nights.
