Posted on Sat September 5, 2015.

Few places on earth offer such diverse places to visit as South Africa; from the stunning cities of Cape Town and Johannesburg to the wonderful mountains and great lakes there are some spectacular options, but little can match the sheer splendour and wonderment that comes with a visit to the bush. At Needles Lodge, a beautiful traditional lodge in a private nature sanctuary close to the amazing Kruger National Park, you can experience the real Africa, and we can also arrange trips not only to the Park, but also to fascinating nearby countries.

Mozambique is a wonderful and friendly country with many fine attributes, not least the pretty and charming capital city of Maputo with its amazing colonial architecture, great food and fascinating markets. Or you could choose to visit one of the beaches of the Inhambane Coast, which are among the very best in the world. Swaziland is another neighbour, and offers a very different slice of Africa: largely untouched, this beautiful country is home to some stunning traditional bush villages where you can watch local craft being made and enjoy entertainment that has been around for centuries – it could not be more different to South Africa.

You could also choose to take a safari in the Kruger National Park, a place where you will undoubtedly see many exotic animals, birds and reptiles going about their daily business, and we can arrange this for you. Back at Needles Lodge after your exciting day you will enjoy the very best in African hospitality with wonderful meals in the restaurant, cool drinks from the bar or a relaxing swim in the pool, and then spend time in the central lounge with a drink and a book and make use of the entertainment system. Needles Lodge is a great place to experience Africa, so why not get in touch and see what we can offer you.
